Please welcome our newest McDermott addition.....

Bowie...............

He's 6 weeks old and was given to us by a veterinarian's assistant. He and his sister were found abandoned on the vet's door step, days old. Their eyes weren't even opened yet. He and his sister were bottle fed by this woman and her family. He's very lovable and kissable and even at 6 weeks patient with the kids. He's a welcome addition to our family and in a couple of months he'll have a bigger yard to play in (hopefully!).

Momma and baby giraffe. The baby was born on December 22, 2008 and currently weighs 338 lbs.


Two of the three African Elephants. They are so unbelievable! Beautiful and huge, the picture's don't do them justice.

Two American Bald Eagles. One male one female. Both were rescued with wing injuries. They were cosmetically repaired and are fine now. They just can't fly.
